Kamal's Music


		Kamal Siegel was born in Punta Arenas, Chile and grew up in various parts of the country. Although his world centered on drawing and painting for many years, his artistic interests began to expand at the age of 15 when he picked up his father's guitar. Kamal gradually developed his own fingerpicking style, learning by ear and those around him, combining elements of Jazz, Flamenco, Musica Social (Social Music) and Chilean Rock (influenced by bands such as "Los Tres" "Los Prisioneros" "Arka" and "Silvio Rodriguez"). Kamal now resides in Seattle, Washington and works as a graphic artist. His artwork can be seen at www.kamalsiegel.com.
